01Agreement to the Terms
By creating an account, signing in, connecting an integration, or using TaskStable (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy at https://taskstable.com/privacy/.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity, and “you” includes that entity. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Contact for legal notices related to these Terms: hello@taskstable.com (or the contact methods listed at https://taskstable.com/contact/).
02The Service
TaskStable provides collaborative project and task management tools, including boards, timelines, automations, documents, reports, and optional integrations with third-party products.
We may change, improve, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. Free and paid plan features are described on https://taskstable.com/pricing/ and may change for new subscriptions.
Beta or experimental features may be incomplete and are offered as-is.
03Accounts and workspaces
You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information and for activity under your credentials.
- Keep passwords and authentication methods confidential and use strong security practices.
- Promptly notify us of unauthorized access at security@taskstable.com or support channels.
- Workspace owners and admins control invites, roles, billing, and content retention for that workspace.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher, to use the Service.
04Customer content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant TaskStable a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and back up Customer Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Customer Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. You are responsible for backing up important content and for export decisions before cancellation.
05Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or create risk to the Service or other users.
- No unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or infringing activity.
- No unauthorized access, scanning, or interference with systems or other users.
- No uploading malware, scraping beyond permitted API use, or reverse engineering except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- No using the Service to send spam or to process special categories of data in ways not allowed by law without appropriate controls.
- No violating Google’s or other third-party providers’ terms when using connected integrations.
06Third-party services and Google APIs
The Service may integrate with third-party products, including Google Sign-In and Google Calendar. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
When you connect Google Calendar or sign in with Google, you authorize TaskStable to access Google data only as described in our Privacy Policy and only for the scopes you approve. Google user data is used to provide user-facing features you enable—not for selling data or advertising.
You can revoke Google access in your Google Account permissions and stop using the integration in TaskStable. TaskStable is not responsible for Google’s availability or for data after it leaves our control through an export or a third-party integration you configure.
Use of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use.
07Plans, trials, and payment
Paid plans require accurate billing information. Fees, seat counts, and annual discounts are shown at checkout and on the pricing page.
Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period starts, except where we fail to provide the Service in a material way and you cancel after notice. Taxes may apply based on your location.
We may change prices for renewal terms with notice. Free or promotional plans may be limited, rate-limited, or discontinued at our discretion.
Non-payment or chargeback abuse may result in suspension of paid features.
08Intellectual property
TaskStable, the TaskStable name and marks, software, and site content (excluding Customer Content) are owned by TaskStable or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted by implication. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
09Confidentiality and security
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. You must protect TaskStable confidential information and we will protect yours as described in our security practices.
You are responsible for configuring workspace permissions appropriately. Report security issues to security@taskstable.com.
10Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TASKSTABLE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that Customer Content will never be lost. You should maintain independent backups of critical data.
11Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TASKSTABLE AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to TaskStable for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) USD 100 if you are on a free plan.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
12Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify TaskStable against claims arising from Customer Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or law, or your misuse of third-party services connected to TaskStable, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
13Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, legal risk, non-payment, or extended inactivity on free workspaces.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive.
14Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you continue using the Service after the effective date, the updated Terms apply where allowed by law. If you disagree, stop using the Service and close your account.
15Governing law
Unless mandatory local law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable where TaskStable operates its principal product business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes that cannot be resolved informally, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections in your country of residence.
